About me

Currently working as Senior Strategic Planner for AFG&Europe in Barcelona.
In a land far far away called New Zealand, I grew up on a remote farm. After excelling as a leader, academic and sportsman in school, I embarked on university in the city of Christchurch. Failing my first year horribly, life seemed to crash down around me. But rising from the academic ashes with new resolve, I went on to succeed, pushing through to complete a degree with first class honours in international relations and business management.
Wandering then into the world of work, I advanced through early professions in tennis coaching and banking. Until one day, an opportunity was handed to me to join the advertising world. I took it with both hands. Since that day, I have had the privilege of developing within some of New Zealand, Australia and the UK's leading advertising agencies. This has included working for brands such as Tourism New Zealand, Coca-Cola, Powerade, XXXX Beer, BMW, Mini, Suzuki, HEAD Sports and Nestlé Purina.
Always, striving to grow as a professional, I have scaled the account service ranks, been accepted to, and completed Award Creative School and now, bringing it all together, I work as a senior strategic planner. And here I find myself, helping to tell powerful stories for brands, all the while living my own, knowing that if you don't keep moving and exploring you will be left behind on the journey.
