Working with Artillery Design, James created mercury and liquid metal fluid dynamics CGI for the launch of Sony’s new male-oriented TV channel in Russia.

Working with some complex particle dynamics and controllers in order to bring the liquid metal to life, sequences were iterated multiple times in order to achieve the desired effect.

The resulting meshes were brought into 3ds Max, tweaked and animated further, to produce a gritty, effective ident for their new brand.
