About me

I am a detail oriented and self-motivated designer with experience in design research, strategic planning and communication strategy. I have extensive experience in executing content intended for internal and public distribution in which I gained during my time working for Environment and Climate Change Canada. My role involved designing the Lake Winnipeg Basin Initiative science report, creating an educational map of the Lake Winnipeg basin used for several government related trade shows and outreach events and designing the program's application and guideline brochures. I have a multi-disciplinary skill set with experiencing writing, editing, photographing and designing magazine articles for local businesses and other initiative campaign projects.

I am a recent graduate of the Master of Design Innovation at the Glasgow School of Art. This program was beneficial as it consistently challenged me to consider innovative approaches when responding to the needs of particular demographics and environments through the application of human-centred research methods. I effectively collaborated with diverse international teams including students from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Sorbonne Université and the Köln International School of Design in order to generate ideas, implement research methods to apply in real world settings and summarise our findings and proposals through a comprehensive presentation.
