Creative direction and strategy for Skype brand and event presence at GEITF.

The Guardian Edinburgh International TV festival is an annual media industry event in Edinburgh, Scotland. 2000 delegates representing the full spectrum of the broadcast industry attend - from Chief Executives, controllers and commissioners to producers, directors, marketers, writers, new media companies and press.

BRIEF:

Skype in Media was the main media sponsor with a mission to inform and educate how Skype can play an integral role in content creation, and help to create unmissable broadcast moments. Promote awareness of the journey so far with Skype in Media.

SOLUTION:

'Keep rolling with Skype in Media' was born. We curated the space to celebrate the creative achievements using Skype, showcasing calls at the top of Everest to the bottom of the sea. There were also live always-on, interactive Skype calls at the stand where attendees could have their caricature drawn live by an artist in London and be dazzled by magic tricks performed over Skype.

Refreshments, free WIFI, promotional collateral and branded giveaways kept attendees engaged throughout the festival.
