Elsk was commissioned by the music and arts festival “Snow Station Vadso”
A small town of 5,500 in the far north of Norway, Vadso nevertheless generously supports and accommodates this on-going festival.
Conceived as a thank you to the people of Vadso, the animation is set entirely in and around the town and features many local landmarks.
At a screening for local school children there was an audible gasp when they saw streets and landmarks of their town on the screen.
