ABOUT
Part of the ongoing photography series CONSTANT, WHAT IS LEFT OF US features LA based actor Ted Otis, outliving himself and wandering town with his eyes wide shut.
In a pessimistic yet realistic portrait of society, we confront the individual VS the group, Life VS Death and all things in between. A visual metaphor of our society blinding itself from reality and preventing us to see what’s coming at us, or simply what was us.
With a real sense of fiction and “mise en scene”, we enter the realm of “social surrealism”, emphasising storytelling in order to send a clear message: open your eyes, because everything we do now is going to leave a trace that will eventually outlive us.
Please note: this series is the beginning of a larger scale project, including film work to be released later in 2020.
