About me

I'm a senior sub-editor, currently working across two Boots' websites: Boots.com and their U.S. co-brand editorial site BootsWebMD.

My job involves proofing all content prior to being uploaded on to either site, plus writing and proofing business-facing documents to present to members of our senior exec.

Much of our work involves translating technical health content into more reader-friendly features, which means I must work closely with our pharmacy and legal teams, plus external stakeholders, to ensure nothing is lost in translation.

I manage a small team of writers and subs, plus freelance writers, commissioning content and chasing to ensure deadlines are met.

I have 12 years' editorial experience on newspapers, impeccable English and a first class honours degree in the subject from Durham University.
