About me

I am a creative with a varied background, looking for a new, full time career in the Newcastle area.

My experience is in fashion design and customer service but through these experiences, my education and running my own fashion label, brm, for the past 3 years, I have a great and varied number of skills to offer, such as:

- ability to use Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator)

- ability to use Office Suite (Word, Excel)

- fabric and materials sourcing

- social media management & marketing

- copy writing for online sales and blog posts

- account keeping and stock taking

- communication, liaising and meeting with clients (customers, buyers and suppliers)

- visual merchandising (both online and in store)

For the last 4 years I have been working part time, and for most of that time I've also been working on growing my business. While I have enjoyed running a business and have learned a lot, cash flow issues are making it increasingly difficult to make this a full time venture.
