In this Project - "shining through" was the concept. I had to pick out a motive, which was a tiger in my case, and we had to draw it in illustrator, save it as file to get it lasered into my coat which I sewed myself. For my coat i wanted something big, that's why I decided to create sleeves that grow bigger til the end of the arms, as well as a floor long body of my coat. On top of that I sewed leather similar fabric as a second layer from the hips downwards and I made the range of the second layer wider than the first so i can get the silhouette I wanted, which you can see in my collection-map. Some other things my Coat has is a stsnd-up collar, no closure and style lines. In the whole process - I had to make a moodboard according to what I want to create - then make a sketch of the coat I want to sew and after that also sewing it according to my sketch. In the final steps I had a photo shooting and I also had to create a collection-map to my whole project.
