DHC Continus is a sustained-release pain-killing medication typically used to relieve pain caused by cancer.
Because of its gradual controlled delivery over time there is less likelihood of 'breakthrough pain' occurring with DHC Continus, which is when the patient wakes up in agony because their medication has worn off while they were sleeping, than there is with other forms of medication.
