As a class we worked on a client brief, and created an animated explainer video for the company KidsCan

“Not all kids have the same start in life. The KidsCan Charitable Trust was founded in 2005 on the belief that education equals opportunity, and every child, regardless of their social economic background, should have an equal chance.”

We created an explainer video for ‘Health for Kids’ part of the KidsCan campaign. This campaign focuses on head lice, treatment and prevention. Together as a class we designed and created an explainer.

This video should educate children and families on how to treat and prevent head lice, also should try to reduce the stigma around head lice.

For 8 weeks, we communicated with KidsCan through weekly updates and revisions. The client gave us the script and the voiceover. We have a 2D and 3D team where the two media were combined in the final video. The whole class was directed by our tutor who was also mainly responsible for directly communicating with the client and setting weekly milestones and deadlines.

At the end of 8 weeks, we were able to deliver a fully furnished video ready for sound production.
