About me

My name is Javier and I'm an Art Director.

I'm always looking for freelance projects to work remotely.

I have a lot of experience as an Art Director in advertising and promotional marketing agencies in Madrid.
I also spent 4 years on the client side, in Creativity at El Corte Inglés, working for Ámbito Cultural,
Hipercor, Bricor, Sfera and many departments of El Corte Inglés, such as Sports or Electronics.

I'm very resolute and I'm also pretty all-rounder in Graphic Design, Illustration and use of Typography,
I have worked for many different sectors and many brands.

In addition to Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator, I can also work on web design with Wordpress
(my smaller clients almost always end up in web and online shop).
And I'm not an expert, but I can also edit video and I'm tinkering with After Effects for the motion theme
(I like to study how to animate typography).

I work for on and off and I've always artfinished my pieces, so I'm detail-oriented until the last second before delivering anything.

I have extensive knowledge of graphic production. I'm also used to presenting to the client with Keynote and with so much meeting via Teams and Zoom, my spoken English is almost fluent.

My last freelance (and remote) projects this year have been for several brands of British American Tobacco (Lucky Strike, Rothmans, Vuse, Glo,...) and also for Ford, with the agencies VML, VMLY&R Commerce and Geometry Global, both based in Madrid. Right now I am working for Michelin Europe and the Jellyfish Agency, with a really greats advertising teams.
