Undocumented immigrants in the U.S. don’t know they have rights under the U.S. Constitution.
FLIC informs immigrants of their rights. Getting information to them is challenging -- they are hard to reach and often distrust authorities and non-profits like FLIC.
Reaching undocumented immigrants as a trusted resource that helps with everything from educating them about rights to offering free legal advice about their status was key.
Knowing that their local restaurants are the one place immigrants trust, we saw the napkin as the perfect way to get our information in front of them.
