Title: 'Enough Is Bloody Enough'

Purpose
For much of 2025, the ground has felt like it’s sliding sideways: jobs vanish and re‑appear as prompts, template tools replace craft, and firms close or get swallowed overnight. After 15 years of freelancing, I’ve never stared at two empty work months, hundreds of outreach messages answered only by rejections or digital silence.

So I’m funnelling the frustration into what I know best, video and graphics. Howard Beale’s “I’m as mad as hell…” monologue in Network (1976) lit the fuse: a fictional rant that feels painfully current.

This project turns that energy into action and reminds me (and anyone watching) that AI still can’t shake a hand or look you in the eye.

> Bots Taking Jobs Away
AI now replaces more roles than it creates; friends sweat while others boast about work a chatbot did.

> Template Over Craft,
Adobe Express, Canva, Wix—great for speed, brutal for designers who spent decades mastering their art.

> Subscription Creep,
Yesterday’s luxury tier is today’s basic, with “one more level” always dangling.

>Hype‑Driven Add‑Ons,
“Now with AI!” gets bolted onto everything to pad quarterly slides.

> Boards Holding Back
Executives keep “riding the market” instead of reinvesting in people.

> Corporate Whiplash
Companies disappear like Technicolour’s recent closure is a prime example—merge, or rebrand faster than the headlines cycle.

> Trading Tariffs, Bullets & Missiles,
Super‑powers volley tariffs (U.S.‑China); others trade live rounds—Russia‑Ukraine, India‑Pakistan.

> Ghosted Inboxes
Messages pile up unanswered while families scramble for income.

> Freelancers Fold In,
Twenty‑year independents swap freedom for a steady paycheque.

> Private Lives for Likes,
Kids, partners, grief—all paraded for a dopamine drip of hearts.

> Applauding the Algorithm,
We clap for posts machines write, cheering our own voices offstage.

Creative Treatment:

10‑second looping video – All eleven chapters flash in rapid succession, each image on‑screen for a fraction of a second while “ENOUGH IS BLOODY ENOUGH” sits fixed at centre.
AI‑Generated Stills - Using Black Lab's Flux for images for speedy exports; polish wasn’t the goal, impact was.
Visual Glitch Layer - Applying special effects to signals, society’s pixel‑by‑pixel erosion.
Audio Design - A digital crackle builds... white tone swallows everything > only a piercing ring remains, then hard cut to black.


Closing Thought

"I’m motivated as hell, and I’m not going to ignore this anymore."

Time to leave the screen, shake hands, and build opportunities face‑to‑face. Enough is bloody enough. Let’s reconnect, rebuild, and prove the human piece still matters.
