Degree Project - The changing environment has caused a lot of distress on this planet. The future of the coming generations has become uncertain. It is, therefore our duty to become responsible citizens and act for the wellness of the planet. Educating young minds has become vital, as they can grow up with the mindset to work in favour of the environment.

About the project

This pop-up book aims to educate the children about a sensitive topic of air pollution, the effects of our actions on the environment and the solution that can be opted for the problem.

The fun, interesting and whimsical format of the pop-up book depicts a sensitive topic in an effective way, which otherwise would overwhelm the fragile minds of the young children.

​​

After practising numerous prototypes, these pop-up mechanisms were finalised to fit appropriately in their respective spreads along with the graphics and text.

​​

Each pop-up in this book is different from another, thus captivating the viewers' attention with the element of surprise after each page turn.
