Manoto 1 is broadcasting from a studio in Wimbledon to Iran (and the rest of the world), providing a programme mix of entertainment, documentaries and news for a Persian-speaking audience.

The brief was to design a bold and memorable visual identity for on and off-air application that needed to stand-out and make and immediate impact with its audience.

We were also asked to create the launch campaign for the channel. As the channel is practically illegal in Iran (all media are state-controlled), we were not able to publicise or advertise Manoto TV in the country itself. Instead we were targeting Dubai and other UAE territories, where many Iranians spend their holidays.
