Brief:

Requested to find something interesting within the set theme of Stoke-on-Trent. This 'something' should be concise and will form the basis of the proposition.

Solution:

'The Trent and Mersey canal is 93.5 miles long.'

My solution came in the form of three willow pattern inspired ceramic plates that feature my intricate illustration of the Trent and Mersey canal. The illustration visually shows the landmarks that are passed when travelling up the canal, reinforcing the idea of length.
