About me
Hello there!
I am an illustrator, designer and all-round creative person based in Belfast, currently operating under the moniker 'Jamie Beard' when working as a freelance illustrator. I'm passionate about producing innovative creative content, always striving to make my work fresh, engaging, and effective in serving its purpose.
As a firm believer that any story can be bolstered via the medium of illustration, I'm not afraid to confront major social issues in my illustrative work, or communicate complex topics and ideas in my own visual language. I recently established Tapestry NI: a new, open-ended project which aims to paint a collective portrait of Northern Ireland's LGBTQ+ communities (On Facebook and Instagram as 'Tapestry NI').
Having worked on projects for a wide variety of clients, I'm fully aware of the sanctity of brand values and guidelines, and am consequently adept at working in an array of styles.
I am currently represented by UsFolk illustration agency in Belfast.
