Throughout my work at Getty Images, I have helped shape a series of Special Collections designed to move beyond conventional stock imagery and create more authentic representation. These collections spotlight communities that have historically been overlooked or misrepresented, presenting real experiences with dignity, accuracy, and humanity. From capturing the diversity of British childhood in partnership with the BBC, to challenging age-related stereotypes through Disrupt Aging, showcasing disability through a lens of empowerment and everyday life, and celebrating the richness of LGBTQIA+ experiences, each collection aims to broaden visual storytelling and foster a more inclusive representation of modern life.
