About me
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my interest in the position of Junior Designer.
Having graduated from the University of Sunderland in Design: Multimedia and Graphics with a 2:1 Bachelors Degree 2013, I am eager to further my career in the Graphic Design industry. I have extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, along with excellent drawing, creative and 2D animation skills.
I have previously held a part time position as a Graphic Designer for a web design and IT specialists and recently worked as Multimedia Resource Developer for e-Quality Learning. As part of my roles, working to briefs and deadlines, my responsibilities include designing for print; creating promotional flyers, large-scale business banners, business cards and more. Along with digital design, designing websites, creating web videos, web banners as well as some icons, all for internal purposes as well as external clients. I also helped out with daily office duties, answering phone calls when management wasn't available, taking messages and greeting clients as they enter the premises.
Although I haven't had the opportunity in my current positions, whilst at university I have previously designed for iPad and iPhone, creating attractive user-friendly environments for different target audiences.
I am very sociable and work well as a part of a team, independently commiting myself to any task given. I am seeking for the opportunity to apply and develop my skills set and look forward to taking the next steps to furthering my career in the Graphic Design Industry.
