Junior Retoucher

I would like to be considered for the position of Junior Retoucher, attached please find a copy of my CV for your consideration. I am looking to gain practical experience within the photography sector and feel that the position of Junior Retoucher within Purple would create the perfect environment for me to develop and demonstrate my abilities.

I am currently a Photography Intern at 'SheInspires' magazine. My responsibilities include sourcing models and taking photographs of the models for the magazines next issue. I scout locations and prepare sets for shooting. I edit, resize and colour correct photographs for the magazine. I maintain the magazines Instagram account. As a representative of the magazine I received invitations to attend and photograph a number of fashion shows during London Fashion Week. Finally I am actively creating a library of stock images for the magazine.

As a recent graduate of the University for the Creative Arts (Farnham) with a BA Photography (Honors) degree, I focused on studio work at university and feel very comfortable in a studio setting. I have worked on the websites for the New Ashgate Gallery and SheInspires.

I am skilled at Photoshop and have used it at SheInspires, Snappy Snaps, the New Ashgate Gallery and at University. I excel at digital photography, however I do also work in analog. I have good Microsoft Office, Word and Excel skills. I am a responsible individual with the ability to work well in a team, take on multiple tasks and complete them all to a high standard. My online portfolio captures my visual creativity.

I am right for the job because I have a passion for creating distinctive and interesting photographs and I would appreciate the opportunity to be considered for an interview.
