I designed the concept for an in-car iPhone App called ‘Street Wise’, from scratch. This app uses telematics and augmented reality to collect data from the user’s driving, and calculates a car insurance discount based on their safety score or ‘Street Cred’. In this newly emerging market I saw the potential to create a greater incentive to drive safely (particularly amongst younger drivers), via interactive functions which allowed the user to analyse their score, and compete and socialise with others.
