The brief was to take an IT office in London and with a little re-working the client wanted to create a comfortable working environment with the addition of 8 new employees. As an already cluttered office the task seemed difficult however there is always a way. Removing the partition wall left me with an amble amount of space to play with. A run of 4-5 employees were to be separated but not set apart from the team. The challenge was to reduce the noise pollution set by the others whilst feeling part of the same group. A partial glass screen became the solution for this along with smart materials, colours and lighting create a more comfortable yet productive working environment whilst the use of storage and desk space played a key role in helping the team maintain a clutter free environment aiding productivity and stress reduction.

Two options were offered allowing the same amount of employees with the addition of a meeting space separate to the break out area. Each had its benefits depending on the future working process of the business. For more information on this project or more like it please feel free to contact me.
