ABOUT

Lifestyle, sport, FMCG, cuisine, even hedgehogs...I've covered a huge range of topics in my current role: senior copywriter at rapidly growing agency Distinctly. As well as writing, the job also involves managing the talented copy team, copywriting training and personal branding for our agency leader.

One of my hats at Distinctly is creating and scheduling social media content. And while we all know numbers aren't everything, I've doubled our likes and engagement on various platforms. Cute dogs obviously help.

I've included some linkable PR content I wrote for Wilkinson Sword. They're one of my favourite clients, because they give us plenty of creative licence, as you can see. We've produced some pretty interesting (and successful) digital PR campaigns for them, landing headline coverage in The Independent, Metro and Yahoo!

Writing up press releases and linkable content to tempt journalists, I've helped to bag valuable links to client websites from Forbes, The Mirror and Good Housekeeping, to name just three.
Sadly, I can't claim involvement for all of the digi PR campaigns that landed on these sites, but I think my words or campaign ideas have featured on at least half of them.

There's also site copy for restaurant chain COSMO. It's hungry work, but the SEO-focused copy we've crafted for them has boosted their organic page visits by around 25%.

And take a look at the site copy for Danish furniture designers BoConcept. I didn't know a single thing about interior design before working on the account, but now I'm essentially Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen (without the flowing locks).
