I am contacting you with a view to consideration for candidacy, for the role of Senior Account Executive, healthcare, as advertised.

Until recently, I worked with the publishing focused, public relations company Midas, in two separate, consecutive roles. Initially I worked as a Digital Media Account Executive, and subsequently as a Corporate Accounts Executive.

In my digital role, I provided tailored solutions for our client's digital and social media needs. In my corporate role, I worked across both corporate and arts accounts; managing projects, building media contacts, securing coverage and building profiles for clients, across broadcast print and digital media.

In these roles, I gained considerable knowledge of publicity and media relations - building on my previous experience - working with authors, publishers, and publishing related companies. In addition, I have worked on accounts for several major publishing events, such as the London Book Fair and the Galaxy Book Awards.

My key strength is an ability to interact productively with the media; building up networks of contacts throughout the media landscape - including online and broadcast media - and as a result I have achieved considerable results for my clients.

Copywriting was a key aspect of my roles at Midas, ranging from press-releases to client brochures. I am a MA graduate in Journalism and Media Communications (First class honours), and have highly transferable journalistic and creative, writing and editorial skills.
