My experimentation was thorough and my physicality played an important role in the construction of this character. I wanted to bring the humanity to a character that is painted as very whimsical and removed. I utilised Declan Donellan's targeting method and the Laban effort 'Float'.

My legs were bouncy and I lead from my head. This unlocked an inner joy and I would often leave the stage in a state of elation that I believe derived directly from the physicality.
