A series of infographics exploring the future impacts of climate change on Florida.

Climate change is affecting our world today, and these effects will become more significant in the years to come. In the United States, one state that is particularly susceptible to some of the most damaging consequences of climate change is Florida.

I had the pleasure of working with the nonprofit Resources for the Future, to help visualize their research through a series of infographics. Each one looked at different way in which Florida will be impacted by climate change, including rising sea levels, policy implications, worsening storms, rising mortality and effects on agriculture. Each infographic was made up of a variety of data points – including charts, annotated maps and illustrations.

I designed the set to be clean and engaging, and looked to strike a balance between creating colourful, attractive layouts that were still tonally appropriate to the serious issues being explored.
