ABOUT
Created directly for IZZA, this film was developed to capture the unique contrast at the heart of the property, a Michelin Key retreat, working art gallery, and the former home of legendary interior designer Bill Willis, hidden within the chaos of the Marrakech medina.
The client wanted the film to express the feeling of stepping away from the city’s relentless rhythm and into complete stillness. To achieve this, we focused on visually separating the intensity of Marrakech from the calm intimacy of the riad. The medina was portrayed through movement, texture, sound, and density, immersing the viewer in the energy of the souks before transitioning into the quieter, more reflective atmosphere behind closed doors.
Inside IZZA, the approach became slower and more observational, allowing the architecture, artwork, natural light, and layered history of the space to speak for themselves. This contrast between exterior chaos and interior calm became the foundation of the film’s narrative and visual language.
The result was a piece designed not simply to showcase a hotel, but to communicate a feeling an experience of refuge, atmosphere, and timelessness within one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
