Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing in application of the position of a Social Media Executive advertised on 'creativepool.co.uk'.

My background is working as a freelancer, in both creative and organisation roles, in the television and film industries. In the last couple of years I have started participating in social media off the back of projects that I have worked on. I developed a keen interest in the subject leading me to start reading business books and eventually take a Social Media Marketing Course at Ravensbourne College.

I have strong project and time management skills and can demonstrate this by having run a studio office and shoots, for a Hollywood production company, on my own.

I am looking to move from Television & Film into a field which can provide me with more job security.

What will set me apart from other candidates for this role is that I am a rare example of somebody who is not only creative, but also extremely organised. What I lake in experience I make up for with my proven experience as a freelancer to quickly adapt to new environments and working practices.
