About me

I am currently based in Derbyshire and I have recently completed my degree at the University of Wolverhampton, achieving second-class honours, upper division (2:1) in BDes (Hons) Product Design. I wish to apply for the position of Junior Designer.

During my degree I have developed a range of qualities, which make me well suited to this position, and I feel as though there is a lot I could bring to your company. I am naturally well organized and self-motivated, with strong problem solving and communication skills, and have experience in all areas of design from idea generation to design development and visualization. I have also had the chance to work in design teams and have proven to thrive in such situations where I am required to both work with, and motivate others.

I specialize in product design but have also undertaken digital design work during my degree including brand design and producing high quality renders. I have good experience in the appropriate design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Keyshot, Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator, SolidWorks, Maxwell Render, and 3ds Max, as well as Microsoft Office. From looking at the job description I was very interested in the opportunity and I would be very excited to be offered this role.
