ABOUT
During the holidays I had the great opportunity to do a week of work experience at Uniform; a graphic design agency in Liverpool. Whilst I was there I helped on various jobs and live briefs with other designers, and my first job was to create a brand mark for the “Strategic Packaging Materials Team,” they are part of the goods company Unilever. I was influenced by the mood boards that had been given to me, these included water ripples, rings, and connected lines. They also wanted the brand mark to show the five areas within the team. Like all clients we had to come up with various concepts so they had a wide range to choose from, so I have picked out my favourite two. The first concept has five different rings for each of the areas; I like this one because each ring is made up from different lines and shapes to show how each area is different, and the circles look like water ripples. The second concept like the first has five rings like water ripples, this one is different though because it is more simple. The colour scheme is based off the colour palette that was provided by the client.
