Work Experience

The Uplands Multimedia Ltd: August 2005 - Present

Working as a sales person selling mobile phones as an advanced dealer for o2.

Duties involved: Upgrading existing customers, selling contracts to new customers, and managing the accounts of business's using the XDA and Blackberry range of PDA's.

Communications Direct: May 2005 - August 2005

Working as a telephone sales person selling mobile phones on the 3 and orange networks.

Duties involved: Negating mobile phone contracts with new customers finding most appropriate tariff for the customer in order to sell. Working within small and large teams in order to hit group and individual targets.

Stuart Interiors: July 1996 - September 2005

Working as a design consultant, also worked as a summer job through university as a labourer.

Duties involved: Working along side designers giving advice and opinions of future designs.

Labouring for a large team of furniture manufactures undertaking different day to day tasks in order to finish jobs on time.

Marquee Rental: May 1999 - July 2004

Own business venture employing one other person renting marques.

Duties involved: Taking bookings, erecting marquees on a given timescale, paying employee on time, giving customers quotes and general management of the business.

Special skills and interests

Trained in the following computer programs: Adobe Photoshop, Ideas, Studio Tools, AutoCAD, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Excellent communication skills especially speaking in front of large groups of people and also on a one to one basis, undertaken throughout university during final year presentations.

Playing football, representing the University first team for four years, playing for Yeovil Town youth sides receiving full colours in final year of university.

Enjoy setting up my own business ventures which include marquee rental company between 1999 and 2004. Clean driving licence.
