I think I would be the perfect addition to the team and department because I have a strong passion for enhancing a customers online experience, and really capturing their imagination and making them want to get involved with the products and ultimately making a final purchase.
I am experienced with keeping to strict guidelines and developing a tone and way of communicating for whole lines of products an example of this is when I was on the team launching the Norman Hartnell Home Collection on behalf of Profile PR and Roullier White - We had only a week from receiving an updated list of item specs and pricing to upload, photograph and create a feel for the brand before a high profile press launch in The Times.
I think that copy writing should be honest, factual but also aspirational for customers, I want them to imagine owning the products I am offering them. Customers should be looking at the page with a smile on their face, if they don't go through with purchasing I want them to remember the product and then come back at a later time. I want to make people want things.
Copy also needs to follow a greater tone, not of the just the item and the group of items it is among but also to meet the companies guidelines with how things need to be delivered, ensuring that products are optimized for search engines, using buzzwords that subconsciously attract customers to the product and leave it in their minds.
I'm great at working as part of a team and enjoy learning from my peers and collaborating to make things better and the best they can be.
I'm always looking for new challenges and ways to better myself, and am a strong learning and extremely forward thinking and focused, I enjoy learning about new trends and following them to try and see what may be next, I think being able to think out of the box is crucial for things like this.
