About me

Since graduating with a degree in Media and Cultural Studies, I have been working as a freelance 3rd Assistant Director for Television production. I have worked on programmes such as The Bill and Casualty. As a 3rd Assistant Director I have been in charge or organising everything for the next scene, this has involved transport, Artists and Action Vehicles. I have also worked closely with the Supporting Artist team. I have directed them on set and assisted the 2nd Assistant Director with booking and casting of feature roles. This aspect of my job has been both enjoyable and interesting.

During my time in Television Production, my communication and organisational skills have become highly developed, as I have been the first point of contact between film crews and production offices. I am confident when adapting to a variety of situations and having to remain calm under pressure. I can effectively manage my time and prioritise my responsibilities in order to complete projects to tight deadlines. I am confident in using a variety of computer packages including word, excel and power point. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills and my work experience has moulded me into both a patient and approachable person. I would be able to undertake administrative duties and I am good at working as part of a team or individually when required.
