About me
I used to work as a Sous Chef when I was 18, after finishing a 2 year course in Art & Design. After working my way up in the kitchen I spent 3 months as Sous Chef and decided I had enough. I applied directly for University by contacting Fred Bates, course leader, at Leeds College of Art when I was 20 and got onto the course with my portfolio, due to not completing my College course.
I have spent the last 3 years studying Graphic Design, including workshops for all aspects within the industry. I have built up a knowledge of concepts, web design, minimal coding, typography, layout & editorial, grid systems, target audiences and print processes & stocks.
Over the past year, whilst at Uni, I have worked with a few clients around the country. I have designed posters for an events promoter in Derby, other small jobs to a full rebrand and identity for a popular city barbers in Leeds.
