Sugar Band is a product I have designed having watched my dad suffer with diabetes for over 5 years. From forgetting to inject insulin to not eating the right amount of sugars, I found it hard to believe there wasn't an easier way to cope with the condition. Sugar Band is a wearable device that tracks the wearers BPM (the hearts beats per minute) and determines when its wearer would need to inject insulin throughout the day.
