City Street was my penultimate university project, and my first ever foray into animating one of my own illustrations.

I created the piece using a mixture of Procreate and Adobe After Effects, and wanted to capture the character of New York city in the late-1980s, as viewed through the lens of Hip-Hop music and street photography of the period.

The piece is a colourful, bold and fun piece, with lots of little details and elements to catch the viewers eye.
