ABOUT

I spent 1 month researching and analysing ‘taste’ and different cultures/subcultures before selecting people to interview.
After all of my research I created a set based on all the feed back given on what is good taste or bad taste and what taste means.
I include this shoot throughout as a fun take on taste being down to the individual.
I took segments of everyones comments and made this set with the intention of it being distasteful to some and tasteful to others. Some would be attracted to the bright colours and sex appeal whereas others reject it. I love the idea of human conditioning of taste and this project reflected my interests as well as being a chance to embrace my love for photography and set design.
