Beyond Screen is an exploration of new interactions that enrich the lives of users, with or without touch gestures. Eye tracking, human proximity, movement detection, hardware detection, air gestures and location information were examined as a means to innovate and devise new ways to elicit functions by going beyond the limitations of touch interactions. Ixonos was involved in carrying out a comprehensive desk research study which evolved into an ideation phase, where we created concepts and breathed life into some great ideas. The final deliverable was to create a short movie of the chosen concept, using a combination of live video and illustrations which Ixonos, wrote, storyboarded, filmed, cast and produced.
