About me

Dear Sir /madam,

My name is Ivar Siösteen . I am 27 years old, I have Beng and Bsc hons degrees. The Beng was attained from Nottingham University as a material

Engineer, and the other was as a product designer at Brunel University. I grew up in England and after graduation decided to move to my native Sweden.

Straight after the move i started work within a company called "My dreamhouse". Within this company I helped to develop the modular housing system

but also learned varying skills such as vector works. I also gained first hand experience managing projects, speaking to both customers and varying

companies employed by us. My work placement ended in July 2006. A few months before the end of my work placement I founded my own company

in a different sector, speeddating. The company is called "Nordicdates AB", this initiated in February 2006 and my first running events were introduced

in mid September. The speed dating events run only during evenings on weekends.

My interest in design stems from a young age when I would spend hours in the woodwork room at school making models, followed by the constant

echo of design and engineering through my life. I am a very lateral thinker with an insatiable enthusiasm to learn.
