I chose to create a narrative/abstract music video. Our song and the music video had its own stories but both of these narratives were connected to each other through a symbol used in the music video that related to the lyrics – a necklace of a cross.
There were months of generating ideas and creating a narrative story for the video. Script writing, storyboarding, etc. Talents were chosen and filming was based on their schedule. Editing made the footage come to life as it was adjusted accordingly to the up-beat music track.
