Tms_Tasker script started as a proactive project.

I was curious about how scripts UI panel works in After effects, and how I could use code to automate some repetitive tasks to save time. Time that could be used to experiment and be creative.

After diving into the world of code, testing, errors, and a couple of versions, the script became a standard for the motion graphics team at TMS London. Every in-store screens with animated content for McDonalds UK and sometimes ROI use Tms_Tasker now.

From the creation of the screens layouts, to sharing with client and delivering to suppliers, as well as as various quick shortcuts and tools, a lot of repetitive tasks have now been automated. It keeps projects organised, and saves the whole team time. Time to be creative.

Since the original version, everyone in the team is now involved to request new features, making this script evolving with the team.
