The project involves making a visual dialogue with the seasons, exploring the changing nature of the landscape throughout the year. Still life’s of seasonal flowers will through repetition also build a visual documentation of a year.
The colours, patterns and natural rhythms for each season will be able to be distilled to create natural collection for each season.
The process of sketching regularly in the field, drawing in the studio making visual notes, particularly when returning to site. Use of found pigments and materials to initiate a drawing allows for natural tempering in the observation.
