About me
Ivan Antic is a Belgrade-based freelance musician, sound engineer and author. Since 1996 he has been involved in numerous music, theater, dance, documentary film and video projects.
From 2003, Ivan was a member of the Belgradeyard band that featured electronics, double bass, saxophone and live video, presenting a contemporary take on the spirit of free jazz music. Beside these groups, Ivan has taken part in several improvisation workshops and played in many informal bands. He has also worked on music for theater, both in Serbia and the United Kingdom, with the acclaimed choreographer Charles Linehan.
In 2006 he started working as a freelance sound technician, recordist and engineer on television projects, documentary and feature films. He is also a member of the production team of the Dis-patch festival in Belgrade, and a member of the informal group which received the 1st prize at the competition of City of Belgrade for the concept of a new cultural venue in Belgrade.
