Step onto a bridge in Central Gardens and be transported to a whole new world of light and sound.

Travelling Light - a motion controlled, outdoor sound and light installation created especially for Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival 2016.

As people stepped onto the bridge in Bournemouth’s bustling Central Gardens they triggered a multicoloured moving light show. The familiar sounds of the south coast were replaced by an exotic soundscape from faraway lands, all controlled by motion sensors.
