tape tales is a tape record label based in Italy. The idea concerns a series of cassette releases wherein every tape is conceived as a singular sound story, produced and narrated by the artist himself through his music.

The graphic representation try to synthesize the label-concept by focusing on the symbol, composed by four bar-lines: the first one coincides with the letter 'l' included in the word 'tales' and it is oblique than the following three lines. This composition symbolizes ideally the typical alignment of a small series of books, or tapes indeed, placed on a bookshelf. The bookshelf: the place where we archive and collect stories, novels, tales: each one different from the other.

The payoff 'music narrates.' tends to reinforce the imaginary linked to the symbol and the naming.
