CHALLENGE
BGS required UX/UI and Visual Design services for a custom project management web portal that could intelligently reduce admin related tasks and make it easier to track the progress of their on going works; bringing together teams from all over the world, and from multiple disciplines.
This portal uses AI to prompt the next task within the set lists of tasks and automatically completes tasks that potentially require no human interaction, such as sending a notification to a fellow colleague to let them know that a document as been submitted. This automation in the system saves employees time and reduces discrepancies in the work flow.

SOLUTION
We designed the online tool that allows employees to track where each project is and where they or their team members are in any project. As well as providing an overview per project, it also has detailed steps set out to complete the project. This portal does not have an inbox, however a notification centre is included, as the system automatically generates communication to help the smooth-running of projects.
The most important part of the project was the Dashboard of the system. Their dashboard is designed to include 3 partial views. One for each of the main elements- communication, tasks, and ongoing projects. It was also important to add employee management tools such as a calendar and reporting.

Our main task was to dress up this app to make sure that organisations in the Corporate industry would want to actually use it. It was important to make sure that it not only looked nice but also the journeys within the app were friendly.
