ABOUT

CHALLENGE
MOB are a very energetic bunch of Bio-informaticians, who have to make a lot boring data science make sense for regular people. MOB currently have an old school website that required a complete re-brand and an e-commerce store set up to help their online institute expand, as well as be easily available to a wider audience. This project wasn’t just about making their brand look cooler, it was also a very personal journey for MoB because of the innovative work they do on a daily basis and it’s important that their quirky-ness is brought into light through their website.

SOLUTION
We provided a fully responsive online solution. We decided to keep the design clean and modern, and added a boldness to it with splashes of bright colors. The clean design was used to represent the solutions, that the team comes up with, out of the jargon that they have to work with. The bright colors represent the experimental and quirky personalities of their team.
It was very important for MoB not to be another corporate brand, however that is exactly where we started our research in the modern bioinformatics industry- some of which ended up being the guide of what NOT to do for MoB. We also thought hard about the Interaction Design on this particular project, merely because it was something that wasn’t too well done in competitor’s platforms; again it is something that added a bit of an ‘umph’ to MoB.
