About me
I have been actively tracking developments on the European wholesale energy markets since 2011 with a specialty in the power markets of central east and southeast Europe. In my current role, I lead a team of brilliant reporters who write high quality, original, forward-looking and data-driven content that supports our customers' trading and strategic decisions. I'm passionate about finding the story behind the numbers and packaging it in the most easy-to-understand, illustrative way. Building and maintaining a reliable network of contacts is also a top priority for me.
I started my career at ICIS by accident and without any prior experience in the sector. I never planned to stay for long but I got hooked on the thrill of discovering new information every day, chatting to sources about the intricacies of the markets and sharing insights with my amazing colleagues whose passion for the energy markets was simply contagious. ICIS turned me into an energy geek!
