Volvo cars have long been marketed and stressed their historic reputation for solidity and reliability. Prior to strong government safety regulation Volvo had been at the forefront of safety engineering. Constantly innovating and improving existing technology Volvo Cars continues to expand its safety features along with raising the level of comfort and refinement.

For over three years, PHM Group have provided Volvo with beautiful, high quality animations to explain the wide and varied technologies that are available in their premium vehicles.
These animations have been so successful that PHM have become Preferred Supplier of Animation for VCC globally.​​​​​​​

My Role

As a part of a team I wore many hats on this project, carrying it from the storyboard through different stages of production to the deliverables. Each video presented different set of challanges in terms of showing how a particular technology is used in certain real life senario. As a 3D generalist I worked on building realistic environments, setting up and animating riggs, texturing and rendering, as well as compositing and 2D animation of graphical elements. Also along with the Creative Director my task was to overlook and make sure the overall look and feel stays consistent across all video clips.
